About
Education: I earned my bachelor’s degree at the University of Denver before completing my medical degree at William Carey University in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. I completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mercy Health through Michigan State University in West Michigan. About Me: I was born in Minneapolis and grew up in Mahtomedi. After ski racing throughout high school, I traveled to Denver to tackle the Rocky Mountains. There, I met my husband, also attending DU. Now, we are the proud parents of three children, who also enjoy outdoor activities. Why I Went Into This Field: From my first introduction to it in medical school, women’s health has been my passion. Guiding women through such pivotal stages in their lives gives me such gratitude. I’m also thankful to have participated in medical mission work in West Africa, caring for the women of Togo. I take special interest in the management of high-risk pregnancies, adolescent gynecology and minimally-invasive surgery.
